Product Description

This elegant, high-end Cava is produced by the Vilarnau winery.

It is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir coming from organic vineyards planted in 1991.

The 2010 vintage was a truly excellent one. The grapes were harvested in late August.

The Pinot grapes, interestingly, were harvested at dusk and, once in the cellar, were immediately crushed and separated from the skins in order not to get any colour.

Fermented in stainless steel tanks, Albert de Vilarnau Chardonnay-Pinot Noir 2010 was then blended, bottled and completed secondary fermentation.

This author wine was then aged for 48 months.

Properly stored, this Catalan sparkling wine will improve for 5-6 years.

The label was conceived by prestigious fashion designer Antonio Miró.

Very bright, straw yellow colour with some golden tinges.



This Brut Nature from Penedès shows intense notes of lees, white fruit, citrus and flowers, combined with aromas of pastry, balsam and dry fruit.



Creamy and fresh, with a smooth texture and well-integrated bubbles. Suggestions of French patisserie, baked apples, wild berries, raw almonds, citrus and jasmine. Long, delicate finish.


Our personal opinion

Inviting and sophisticated, Albert de Vilarnau Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2010 combines the best of Champagne with the best of Cava.
