Product Description

A varietal Tinto Fino wine, Arrocal Crianza comes from 30-year-old vineyards with sandy-clay soils planted at 830 metres of altitude, near the village of Gumiel de Mercado, Burgos, DO Ribera del Duero.

Produced by Bodegas Arrocal, this Spanish red wine was meticulously vinified. The grapes were first macerated for 15 days in stainless steel tanks, after which they were fermented under controlled temperature.

After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into 400-litre French oak barrels, where it was aged for a period of 12 months.

Finally, Arrocal Crianza 2020 was gently filtered before being bottled and aged for a further 12 months before hitting the market.

Pair this Crianza red wine with roast recipes, casseroles and aged cheeses.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Arrocal Crianza is deep ruby with some maroon reflections.

This is a fresh and intense varietal Tinto Fino wine, with jammy blackberries, liquorice and pine needles, with a splash of vanilla, clove and nutmeg and a note of toast and chocolate.

This wine from bodega Arrocal is medium-bodied and smoother than your usual Ribera Crianza. Focused, fresh and balsamic, with excellent balance, good definition and a lively acidity. Fruit-driven and gently spicy, it ends with a remembrance of toast and undergrowth.

Good ribera
This is a nice find. Reasonably priced Ribera, good fruit, tension and medium to high acidity.
