This is the 2023 vintage of the wine Bosque de Matasnos from DO Ribera del Duero.
Produced by the Bosque de Matasnos winery, this Spanish red wine is made from Tempranillo with a dollop of Merlot and Malbec, a variety which is almost non-existent in the region.
The grapes come from old vines certified organic planted at 933 metres of altitude. They were harvested by hand and meticulously selected. First on site, then twice in the cellar
After a cold maceration, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
Then the red wine Bosque de Matasnos 2023 was aged for 12 months in 225 and 500-litre barrels (90% French oak and 10% American oak).
Decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
