What makes the wine Bosque de Matasnos Tempranillo Malbec unique among the wines produced in the DO Ribera del Duero is the fact that it is the only wine made from a blend of 75% Tempranillo and 25% Malbec. That's why this Spanish red wine from the Bosque de Matasnos winery is a trailblazer.
It is made from over 60-year-old vineyards located at an altitude of 950 metres above sea level.
The grapes were picked by hand, selected once on site, and twice on entering the cellar. Then they were cold macerated before being slowly fermented under controlled temperature.
Once both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations were completed, the red wine Bosque de Matasnos Tempranillo Malbec 2019 was aged in fine-grained French oak barrels for 24 months.
We suggest that you aerate this one-of-a-kin Crianza red wine from Ribera del Duero some time before you drink it.
