The new vintage of Cara Nord Blanc is made from Macabeo, Chardonnay and Trepat, an indigenous red grape from Conca de Barberà which here has been vinified in white (without skin maceration.)
Produced by Cara Nord, this Spanish white wine comes from vineyards with slate and cobbled soils planted at 800 metres of altitude. The winery practices an uncompromising high-altitude agriculture, following minimal intervention and environmentally friendly practices.
After a meticulous harvest, this white wine from Conca de Barberà was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then Cara Nord Blanc 2021 was aged for 3 months on lees prior to its bottling.
The Cara Nord winery is a joint effort of Catalan winemaker Tomàs Cusiné and famed American importer Eric Solomon.

High-quality white wine. Nice and fresh, it has a solid body and a good structure, so it is not a summer-only wine.
