Red Wine Carmelo Rodero 9 meses Magnum 2020
Availability: In stock
Crafted from vineyards around 20 years of age, Carmelo Rodero 9 meses Magnum comes from DO Ribera del Duero.
After the harvest, the grapes were destemmed and gently crushed. Then they were fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Carmelo Rodero 9 meses Magnum 2020 completed malolactic fermentation and was transferred into French and American oak barrels, where it was aged for a period of 9 months.
Then, this red wine from Ribera del Duero (1,5 litre-bottle) was aged for a further 3 months in the cellar. It will evolve nicely in the bottle.
The red wine Carmelo Rodero 9 Meses Magnum is deep ruby with a bluish rim.
A textbook Tinta del País, with aromas of wild berries, some herbal remembrances and hints of underbrush, balsam and toast combined with some dim spicy overtones.
Clean and focused, with a balanced acidity and ripe, yummy tannins. This wine of Bodegas Rodero is nimble and joyful, with a balanced acidity and some lively tannins. Medium-long, fresh finish reminiscent of blackberries and dry earth.
