Made by bodega Clos Lentiscus-Can Ramón Viticultors del Montgròs, the sparkling wine Clos Lentiscus Greco di Subur Blanc de Blancs - previously known as Clos Lentiscus Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature - is sourced from the Finca El Pou vineyard, located in the Garraf massif, a subzone of DO Penedès mostly composed of poor, limestone-rich soils.
Made from Malvasía de Sitges vineyards planted in 2004 and farmed following biodynamic techniques, this sparkling wine from Penedès was fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
Once the process was finished, the sparkling wine Clos Lentiscus Greco di Subur Blanc de Blancs 2019 was bottled and added a pied de cuve made from frozen wine must, in order to kickstart secondary fermentation.
After completing the process, this Brut nature sparkling wine was aged for no less than 36 months. It was added no dosage after the disgorgement.
This is a very versatile and original sparkling wine from Garraf.
