A highly original a Blanc de Noirs Spanish sparkling wine from the Massís del Garraf area, Clos Lentiscus Sumoll Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature is crafted from over 80-year-old Sumoll vines planted in La Torrentera vineyard, composed of sandy soils.
Produced by Clos Lentiscus-Can Ramon Viticultors del Montgròs following the traditional method, the grapes were harvested by hand at dawn and delicately pressed at the winery to avoid the must from receiving pigmentation, making this a Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine.
This varietal sparkling wine from Penedès was fermented with native yeasts, and then it was bottled. After completing secondary fermentation, Clos Lentiscus Sumoll Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature was aged for 36 months. It was added no sipping liquor or sugars after being disgorged.
The production of this brut nature sparkling wine is around 6.000 bottles.
This sparkling wine Clos Lentiscus Sumoll Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature is pale salmon with faint pinkish reflections.
Delicate aromas of ripe strawberries, flowers, citrus and dry herbs, typical of the Sumoll variety, with some leesy and bready remmebrances.
This sparkling wine Clos Lentiscus Sumoll Reserva Familiar of bodega Can Ramon Viticultors del Montgròs is crisp, dry and pithy, with a subtle minerality, suggestions of Mediterranean underbrush and flavours of red berries. Creamy bubbles and a medium-long mineral finish.
