Produced from old vineyards planted in soils with different compositions, the wine Coca i Fitó Maragda is an interesting Spanish red wine produced by the Coca i Fitó winery.
It is crafted from a blend of 40 to 100-year-old Grenache (55%), and 40 to 80-year-old Carignan vines (25%), complemented with a 20% of Syrah coming from young, 15 to 30-year-old vines.
The grapes were harvested at dusk and selected on site. This Crianza red wine from Montsant was then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature.
After that, the wine Coca i Fitó Maragda 2018 was aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, as well as in terracotta amphorae.
Decant this red wine from Montsant 30 minutes before drinking.
