Made solely from Tempranillo, the red wine Dehesa La Granja is the entry-level wine of the bodega Dehesa La Granja from Pesquera-Familia Fernández Rivera winery's portfolio.
This varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from vineyards planted at 700 to 750 metres above sea level, on the southwest area of the Zamora province, in the DO Tierra del Vino de Zamora. The area has sandy, clayey and limestone soils and an extreme Continental climate. The vineyards were originally planted with Tempranillo offshoots sourced from the the Condado de Haza estate.
This red wine from Zamora was traditionally vinified. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After that, the red wine Dehesa La Granja 2021 was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels.
Once bottled, this Crianza red wine was cellared for several years before hitting the market.
