Details
The new vintage of the wine Atteca is, as usual, made solely from Grenache. This Spanish red wine is produced by Bodega Ateca, a branch of Gil Family Estates.
Born in the harsh Spanish region of Calatayud, Aragón, this vegan red wine was crafted from very old vines, some of which are 100 years old. They are planted on slate soils at altitudes between 700 and 1,000 metres above sea level.
The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and subsequently transferred into French oak barrels. After that, the wine Atteca 2021 was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
We strongly suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine at least 30 minutes before you drink it.

Juicy red fruit, notions of cocoa and sensations of dry earth over an underlying layer of minerality. Creamy and fresh, with ripe tannins, good acidity and a long, persistent finish. |

This garnacha from Aragón deserves a place among my favourites. Super deep and concentrated, nevertheless it keeps the freshness.
