The interesting wine Dominio de Tares Godello is produced from the few hectares of Godello vineyards that bodega Dominio de Tares has in San Román de Bembibre, a village of DO Bierzo.
This varietal Spanish white wine is made from vines around 25 years of age, planted in clay-limestone and slate soils between 400 and 700 metres altitude.
Harvested by hand in little boxes, the selected grapes were fermented in 500-litre French oak barrels. After that, this white wine from El Bierzo was aged in the barrels for 6 months and racked once during the process.
Finally, the wine Dominio de Tares Godello 2024 was bottled after a gentle filtration.
We suggest drinking this white wine fermeted in oak at a temperature of 10-12ºC.
Pair with baked fish dishes and roast pig recipes.
