The wine Dosterras Blanc is made by bodega Dosterras, the wine project of Mexican entrepreneur Fernando Grajales in the DO Montsant.
This Spanish white wine is made from an interesting blend of grape varieties: 80% Pedro Ximénez – native to the south of Spain, but with a long history in the Montsant region – and 20% White Grenache, the flagship variety of the region. The vines are planted in sauló soils (granitic sand) near the village of Marçà.
Hand-picked and meticulously selected, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks. After that, this white wine from Montsant was aged for 6 months on its lees with periodic stirrings. After bottling, the white wine Dosterras Blanc 2024 was stored for no less than 12 months before hitting the market.

Appearance

Nose
Nuanced and expressive, with a fresh and citrusy herbiness underpinning the ripe white fruit. This wine from Pedro Ximénez and Garnatxa Blanca carries subtle mineral undertones and some floral nuances.
Palate
Well-rounded texture, with a lively acidity, good definition and a savoury mid palate. This white wine from Bodega Dosterras has a gently mineral finish with a delicate bitter twist.
