Produced by Bodega Elías Mora, the wine Elías Mora Crianza comes from old Tinta de Toro vineyards. All along the year, the plants must endure the ordeal of an extremely severe Continental climate, with bitterly cold winters and blisteringly hot summers.
Harvested at dawn, the grapes were selected prior to being destemmed. Then they were fermented in stainless steel tanks and macerated for a period of 20 days.
After that, this Spanish red wine from DO Toro was drawn off and transferred into 50% French and 50% American oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for a period of 12 months.
Finally, the red wine Elías Mora Crianza 2020 was filtered and aged for a further 6 months in the bottle.
Aerate this red wine from Toro 1 hour before drinking. Pair with cold cuts, cured cheeses and hearty meat recipes.

Spicier than on the nose, with hints of liquorice, toffee and cocoa. The tannins are smooth, and the finish is uplifting and slightly mineral. |
