The En Números Vermells winery is the personal project of talented winemaker Silvia Puig, the name behind the wine En Números Vermells Etiqueta Negra, an under-the-radar jewel from DOQ Priorat.
A totally indigenous blend of Grenache and Carignan, this Spanish red wine is sourced from vineyards planted on steep slate slopes near Torroja and Bellmunt del Priorat.
Hand-picked and selected on site, the grapes were vinified in French oak barrels and clay vessels.
After a long post-fermentation maceration, the red wine En Números Vermells Etiqueta Negra 2022 was aged for 14 months in the said containers.
Given its depth and concentration, it is crucial to decant this Crianza red wine 1 hour before drinking at the very least.
This red wine from Priorat should evolve nicely in the bottle.

Impressively balanced, with powdery tannins and a linear, metallic acidity. Smoked black fruit, bitter cocoa and herbs de Provence, giving way to a long finish with a berryish and bitter aftertaste. |
