Produced by Enrique Mendoza, one of the most respected winemakers in Mediterranean Spain, the wine Enrique Mendoza Petit Verdot comes from DO Alicante.
This unconventional Spanish red wine is made solely from Petit Verdot.
After the harvest, the wine completed both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tanks during a period of 24 days.
Then the red wine Enrique Mendoza Petit Verdot 2022 was aged, first for a period of 10 months in American oak barrels from Oregon, and then for 5 months in 2nd year French oak barrels from Allier.
Finally, this red wine from Alicante was bottled unfined.
