Product Description
Details

A varietal Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from DO Ribera del Duero, Entrelobos is produced from several parcels of vines situated near the village of La Horra.

The grapes were harvested by hand, destemmed, cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Then half of this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into French oak barrels, a 25% went into 5,000 liter oak vats, and the other 25% was kept in the tanks.

After that, Entrelobos 2021 from bodega Viñedos Singulares was aged for 9 months. Then it was blended and bottled.

This varietal Crianza red wine nicely combines intensity and drinkability.

Appearance

The red wine Entrelobos is deep ruby with some purplish edges.

Nose

Nice, clean aromatic expression of the Tinto Fino variety. Good balance between juicy forest fruits and some creamy and toasted aromas, combined with earthy touches.

Palate

Expressive and intense, this wine from Viñedos Singulares has some well-rounded tannins and a crisp acidity. Pleasant, medium-long finish with remembrances of toast, mulberries and underbrush.

Our personal opinion

As unpretentious as all of the wines poduced by Viñedos Singulares - and equally delicious - Entrelobos 2021 pairs nicely with tapas and appetizers

Value
This wine has the flavours of a good Ribera, but without the density sometimes associated with other wines. Great pick!

An afforable and interesting Ribera del Duero is not an easy thing to find. This wine matches both conditions.
