Details
The wine Finca Olivardots Vermell is produced in the village of Capmany, located in the Catalan region of L'Empordà.
The main component of this plurivarietal Spanish red wine wine is 74% Syrah, 14% Samsó (the local name of Carignan) and 12% Grenache. All of the varieties are planted in soils composed of granite and pebble stones.
Harvested in little boxes, the grapes of this red wine from L'Empordà from bodega Vinyes d'Olivardots were cold-soaked and separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
Then they were gently pressed, after which the wine Finca Olivardots Vermell 2021 was aged for a period of 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels.

A killer value from a not-so-well-known winery, at least outside of Catalonia, where I live. Solid item.
