Gin Gin Nut Reserva

The young but already prestigious Catalan distillery NUT, based in the Empordà region, not far from the city of Girona, presents Gin Nut Reserva, a premium Gin made in the traditional London Dry Gin style.

This exquisite Small-Batch Gin is produced in small copper stills with top-quality ingredients: osmotized water, pure ethanol spirit made from grain with 96% ABV and a selection of botanicals, mostly sourced from the Mediterranean forests surrounding the distillery.

Once the maceration and distillation processes were completed, this Gin from L’Empordà was aged in French oak barrels which had previously been used to age wines from DO Empordà, a renowned Catalan wine region. The oak ageing gave this Artisan Gin a truly distinctive personality.

Mahoganny-coloured with some amber and orangeish reflections, Gin Nut Reserva suggests deep smokey and toasted aromas, with hints of juniper and aromatic herbs and sparks of citrus, vanilla and honey. The palate of this London Gin is balanced, smooth and detailed, with a very long and elegant finish.

Because of its amazing complexity, this Gin from Girona is worth drinking neat or on the rocks. Needless to say, you can also use it in cocktail recipes.
