Formerly known as Giró Ribot Tendencias Extra Brut, the Cava Giró Ribot UMA Brut Gran Reserva is produced in Penedès, within DO Cava.
This blended Spanish sparkling wine is composed of an equal percentage of Xarel·lo and Chardonnay, plus a 20% Pinot Noir. All are sourced from organically certified estate vineyards 20 to 30 years old.
Harvested by hand, once in the cellar the grapes were destemmed, cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, the Cava Giró Ribot UMA Brut Gran Reserva 2022 was blended and bottled. Then this Cava Gran Reserva Brut completed secondary fermentation and was aged for a period of 50 months minimum.
Very versatile, this Cava Gran Reserva from Penedès is excellent as an aperitif or with light dishes.
