The Cava Giró Ribot Avant Brut Reserva is made by bodega Giró Ribot, a traditional Cava producer.
This blended Spanish sparkling wine is made from 45% Xarel·lo, 45% Chardonnay and 10% Macabeo, sourced from 30 to 50-year-old vineyards located in Can Bas, in the heart of Penedès.
Hand-picked and cold-macerated, this Reserva Cava was fermented in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, where it was briefly aged.
Once bottled, this cava aged in barrels went through secondary fermentation, after which the Cava Giró Ribot Avant Brut Reserva 2018 was aged for 30 48 months before being disgorged.
The producion of this Cava Reserva from Penedés is around 10,000 bottles.
