The Maria Casanovas winery has surprised us with this new Cava, Glaç Rosat Brut Nature.
Like its brother Glaç Brut Nature, it is crafted from Pinot Noir (60%) combined with the traditional Cava blend: Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Parellada. Besides the percentage of Pinot Noir in the blend, the difference between these cavas is that the base wine was macerated with the skins of the Pinot Noir grapes for two hours.
Then, this organic rosé Cava aged for a minimum of 18 months in its bottle.
This rosé Cava from Penedès also comes in an original, transparent bottle.
Great as an aperitif, Maria Casanovas Glaç Rosat Brut Nature can also be enjoyed with rice, pasta or desserts.

| Nose | Intense and delicate. Over a substantial background gained from its long ageing process, this Rosé Brut Nature is expressive and juicy, with touches of red fruit and citrus along some herbaceous and floral notes. |
| Palate | Well-rounded and nicely textured, the passage through the palate of this organic rosé Cava of Maria Casanovas is intense and very fresh, smooth, and delicately dry. Fresh wild berries, alongside some balsamic notes and a creamy background. Excellent acidity, crisp and pleasant. A persistent finish leaves a fresh and creamy aftertaste onto the palate. |
