Gómez Cruzado Blanco 2024
The white wine Gómez Cruzado Blanco is made from a blend of several traditional DOCa Rioja varieties.
As usual, Viura takes the main part, complemented with 20% Tempranillo Blanco and 5% White Grenache and Malvasía. The grapes are sourced from bushvines planted on limestone soils situated near Haro, and from vineyards with clay-iron soils situated in Alto Najerilla.
The grapes were hand-picked and selected on entering the cellar. Half-destemmed, they were gently pressed with a pneumatic press and then fermented in stainless steel tansk under controlled temperature.
After that, the white wine Gómez Cruzado Blanco 2024 was aged for 5 months on lees, some in French oak barrels and the rest in concrete diposits.
Pair this white wine from La Rioja with a nice cheese planter, oily fish recipes and white meat dishes.
