Bodega Herència Altés, a household name from the DO Terra Alta, makes the white wine Herencia Altés La Musaranya following a low intervention approach.
A varietal White Grenache, this Spanish white wine is sourced from estate vineyards 15 and 65 years of age, certified organic, located near the village of Batea, in the province of Tarragona, south Catalonia.
The hand-picked grapes were refrigerated before going through a direct pressing, from which only the 30% of the free-run must was used. This white wine from Terra Alta was fermented with native yeasts in concrrete diposits.
The white wine Herencia Altés La Musaranya 2025 was subsequently aged for 5 months in the tanks, with periodic lees-stirrings.
Finally, this organic white wine was bottled after a gentle filtration.
Besides being vegan certified, this is a low-sulfites wine.
