This Japanese whisky of the Suntory distillery is the utmost expression of Japanese whisky craftmanship, and a supreme example of Japanese love of subtletly and nuance.

Made from a blend of grain and malt whiskies matured in Sherry seasoned barrels and Mizunara oak casks, this 21 year old whisky was conceived by Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo like a musical composition, in which every note or accord is and “eco” or “ressonance” that combine into a magical harmony of aroma and flavour. The Japanese word Hibiki designates this kind of compositional procress, which in this blended whisky achieves seldom experienced levels of depth and finesse.

The whisky Hibiki 21 Years is deep amber with some mahoganny-coloured reflections. The nose of this whisky Hibiki is amazingly delicate and complex. Aromas of caramel, ripe banana, raspberries and redcurrants, with hints of Mizunara oak, smoke, aged Sherry, incense and dried apricots. Supremely elegant and smooth, the palate of this Suntory whisky is spicy, floral and gently warm, with a very long finish reminiscent of smoke, citrus and fine wood.
