Sourced from an unnamed Islay distillery among the eight currently based in the island, Ileach Cask Strength is a Scotch Whisky bottled by the Highlands And Islands Whisky Company.

Crafted in copper stills, this Single Malt Whisky was matured for 5 years minimum in Bourbon and Sherry casks. It was bottled at cask strength - meaning it was not diluted after maturation. ABV is 58%.

Amber coloured, this Single Malt Whisky has a complex and enticing nose, with aromas of orange peel, spices, bacon crisps, treacle and peat. The palate is round and gently sweet, with a smokey note and a spicy finish.

Given its alcohol content, Ileach Cask Strength is best enjoyed with a tiny splash of water or on the rocks. In any case, this is a great tot.
