The grapes were carefully harvested and separately vinified. First, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then, this organic red wine was macerated for two weeks with the grape skins.
After that, Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot 2020 was aged for 4 months in French oak barrels.
Finally, this vegan red wine was aged for some months in the bottle before its market release.
The wine Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot is medium ruby with a purplish rim.
Lively, well- defined aromas of red berries, withered leaves and dry earth, combined with notes of spices and some hints of pepper and dried herbs. This blend of Merlot and Petit Verdot has a very attractive nose.
Meaty and intense, this wine of Jean Leon has a velvety body and a remarkable acidity. Notes of juicy fruit and Eastern spices, crunchy tannins and long, toasted finish.
