Produced by Bodega Altolandón in the DO Manchuela, the wine L’Ame de Altolandón Malbec is a varietal Malbec made from organically farmed vines grown in rocky soils at 1,100 metres above sea level. The vineyards are located the town of Ladete, halfway between the provinces of Valencia, Cuenca and Teruel.
After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were first macerated for 2 weeks. After that, this Spanish red wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Once transferred into French oak barrels, the wine L’Ame de Altolandón Malbec 2019 was aged for 12 months before bottling.
Elegant and powerful, this organic and vegan red wine should be aerated some time before drinking.
