An exciting and unconventional Spanish red wine from DO Monterrei, Galicia, the wine Ladairo Barrica is crafted by Bodegas Ladairo.
It is made mostly from Mencía, complemented with a small amount of Araúxa (a local clone of Tempranillo).
The grapes were harvested by hand and separately vinified. After being macerated and fermented, the wine was blended and transferred into French and American oak barrels.
There, the wine Ladairo Barrica 2022 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 8 months.
