Fortified Wine Lustau Manzanilla Papirusa
Availability: Out of stock
This Spanish fortified wine from Jerez is crafted from Palomino grapes and aged in American oak barrels with a “soleras” sediment rotation process. This wine has a unique character representative of the Sanlúcar de Barrameda region at the mouth of the Guadalquivir river. The humidity in this region greatly affects the grapes and gives this wine a special character.
We should enjoy this sweet wine over the next two years.
This wine Lustau Manzanilla Papirusa is especially good as an aperitif, with shell-fish, and all sea foods.
| Appearance | A brilliant and pale Straw-yellow. |
|---|---|
| Nose | Elegant floral and dry fruit aromas entwine with creamy notes that give this wine a saline character gained from its cultivation. Delicate and dry. |
| Palate | The palate starts with an attack on the palate that is dry and ample, with a delightful, long, and fresh passage that filled with dry fruits. Very well-balanced and with good acidity. A finish that is persistent but mild. |
| Our personal opinion | Absolutely without a doubt this Lustau Manzanilla Papirusa is the best Manzaniilla wine. It is brilliant as an aperitif, and we love to enjoy this one by the sea. |
