The sparkling wine Vinya Lluny Ancestral is produced through a minimal intervention winemaking process by Ms Aurora Carafí, the third generation of bodega Maria Casanovas.
This varietal Spanish sparkling wine is sourced from Xarel·lo vineyards located in Sant Jaume Sesoliveres, in the heart of Penedès.
The grapes started fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after which this Pét-Nat from Penedès was bottled before finishing the process. The sparkling wine Vinya Lluny Ancestral 2023 was not stabilized, filtered of clarified before being bottled.
Finally, this Ancestral sparkling wine from Penedés was left in contact with the lees for a minimum of 6 months.
