Bodega Ramon Canals presents its new Cava: Marta Ultraviolet Reserva Brut, made from certified organic vines.

A blend of Xarel·lo and Pinot Noir, this Spanish sparkling wine is sourced from vineyards located in Central and Alt Penedès. Both varieties were hand-picked and individually fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then the Xarel·lo grapes were aged in Allier oak barrels for a short period of time.

After completing secondary fermentation in the bottle, this organic and vegan Cava was aged for a miniimum of 24 months before hitting the market.

The Cava Marta Ultraviolet Reserva Brut 2022 is fresh, gently dry and food-friendly.

Appearance

The Cava Marta Ultraviolet Reserva Brut is pale yellow with some steely reflections.

Nose

This blend of Xarel·lo and Pinot Noir carries aromas of jasmine, lemon pie and herbs de Provence, with a dash of fine lees and intimations of exotic spices.

Palate

This cava of Ramon Canals winery is clean and fresh, with gentle bubbles, a savoury mid-palate with notes of citrus and patisserie and a medium-long finish with a floral and balsamic aftertaste.

Our personal opinion

The cava Marta Ultraviolet Reserva Brut 2022 is eye-catching and nicely priced.
