Cava Ramon Canals Gran Reserva Limitada 2018
Availability: In stock
Confidential and not easy to find, the sparkling wine Ramon Canals Gran Reserva Limitada is made from the traditional Cava blend.
The Xarel·lo and Macabeo grapes come from estate vineyards, while the Parellada grapes come from a local Penedès grower. All of the vines are over 40 years old.
Harvested between late September and October, each variety was pressed and then only the "free-run" juice was used to produce the wine.
Separately vinified in stainless steel tanks, the Cava Ramon Canals Gran Reserva Limitada 2018 completed secondary fermentation in the bottle and was aged for a minimum of 48 months.
The disgorging date is printed on the back label.
Limited production.
This excellent Cava Gran Reserva Brut Nature of bodega Cavas Ramon Canals will nicely accompany a whole meal.
| Appearance | The Cava Ramon Canals Gran Reserva Limitada is medium straw with dim golden tinges. |
|---|---|
| Nose | This blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada suggests aromas of pastry, English custard, dry fruit and aromatic herbs, intertwined with notions of citrus, white fruit, white flowers and toast. |
| Palate | Dry, precise and very fresh, this sparkler of Cavas Canals Canals has good grip and a remarkable complexity. Dim bitter notions, alongside remembrances of raw almonds, butter, jasmine, rosemary, grapefruit and balsam. Zesty acidity, and long, inviting finish. |
