Details
Located in the province of Segovia, the Avelino Vegas Bodegas winery produces Montespina Verdejo sobre lías - formerly known as Montespina Verdejo - from approximately 400 hectares of estate vineyards, one-fourth of which are almost 100 years old.
Carefully harvested, the Verdejo grapes of this young Spanish white wine from DO Rueda were destemmed and cold-soaked.
Gently crushed, this white wine from Rueda was fermented for a period of 3 weeks in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, the wine Montespina Verdejo sobre lías 2023 was left in contact with its lees for a short period of time to increase the volume and creaminess of the wine.
Pair with shrimp, tapas and light dishes.
