Produced by Bodegas Enrique Mendoza, the wine Moscatel de La Marina is produced in the ever-sunny coasts of the Mediterranean.
This varietal Spanish white wine is made from Muscat of Alexandria (Moscatel de Alejandría), a grape that has been being grown in the Alicante region for over 2,000 years.
Traditionally vinified, the grapes were destemmed, macerated and drawn-off. Then they were gently crushed and the resulting "free-run" juice was added wine alcohol until it reached 15%.
Finally, the wine Moscatel de La Marina 2023 was filtered and bottled. Incidentally, this is a vegan certified wine.
This young sweet white wine is simply delicious.
