Muga Blanco 2025
A much appreciated Spanish white wine from La Rioja, the elegant wine Muga Blanco is made principally from Viura, complemented with Malvasía & White Grenache, sourced from estate vineyards with clay-limestone soils.
Made by Bodegas Muga, after a meticulous harvest the fruit was macerated with the skins. Then this white wine from La Rioja was fermented in new French oak vats (60%) and in oak barrels from Nevers (40%).
Finally, the wine Muga Blanco 2025 was aged on lees in the barrels for 4 months, with periodic stirrings. During the first three months the lees were stirred twice a week, and during the last month lees-stirrings were carried out on a daily basis. Finally, the wine was cold-stabilized before bottling.
Pair this white wine fermented and aged in oak with creamy cheeses, white meat and fish recipes.
