A varietal Godello, the grapes were sourced from vines grown in slate and granite soils on the banks of the Sil river.
Harvested during the second half of September, the grapes were destemmed and cold-macerated at a temperature of 8ºC to preserve their aromatic compounds. Then this Spanish white wine was fermented with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks for a period of 14 days under a strict temperature control.
Finally, the white wine O Luar do Sil Godello Sobre lías 2024 was aged on its lees for 6 months before being bottled.
This is a truly terroir-oriented white wine from Valdeorras.
