A branch of the J&C Prime Brands group, owned by the Juvé family of bodega Juvé y Camps, bodega Pagos de Anguix is the producer of the wine Pagos de Anguix Barrueco, a varietal Tinto Fino, or Tempranillo, from DO Ribera del Duero.
This varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from 20 to 30-year-old vines certified organic, grown in soils composed of rocks, sand and limestone at 850 metres of altitude.
Traditionally vinified, the grapes were macerated and fermented under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After that, this Crianza red wine was transferred into fine-grained French (85%) and American (15%) oak barrels.
After that, the wine Pagos de Anguix Barrueco 2020 was aged for a period of 14 months. Finally, this organic red wine was bottled and kept in the cellar for a substantial period of time before hitting the market..
Pair with hearty recipes.
Aerate this red wine from Ribera del Duero 30 minutes before drinking.
