The wine Pagos de Balbás is produced by Bodegas Balbás en la DO Ribera del Duero.
Made solely from Tempranillo, this varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from vineyards with sandy and clayey soils sitting at 840 metres of altitude in the La Horra area, Burgos.
The hand-harvested grapes were selected on site and upon arriving at the cellar. This red wine from Ribera del Duero was fermented with native yeasts under controlled temperature. After that, the red wine Pagos de Balbás 2022 was aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
Finally, it was bottled and kept in the cellar for some months before being released.
