The Cava Pere Rexach Baqués Gran Reserva is a remarkable Gran Reserva made by the Rexach Baqués winery in Penedès. This Cava is an homage to their ancestors and to the founder Pere Baqués.
This limited edition Spanish sparkling wine was crafted from a coupage of estate-grown Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada grapes. Interestingly, the liqueur d'expedition is made from Pinot Noir.
Crafted following the traditional method, it was subsequently aged in the underground cellars of the winery (dating from 1910) for a minimum of 60 months at a constant temperature of 14°C.

| Nose | Delicate and elegant Gran Reserva Brut. The notes of the long aging (creamy, nuts, pastries, toast) are perfectly assembled with the ripe white fruit. A subtle citrus background just balances the whole. |
| Palate | Creamy palate with ripe fruit and notes of the long ageing with some nice memories of pastries and nuts. Bubbles are well integrated and acidity is very good. Cava by Rexach Baqués has a long finish with a good persistence, leaving toast sensations and a smoked aftertaste. |
