The elegant wine Perelada Finca Malaveïna is produced by bodega Castillo de Perelada, the first winery in Europe awarded with the LEED® Gold sustainability certification, granted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
This Spanish red wine is sourced from Finca Malaveïna, a scenic vineyard with red clayey soils which has stunning views of the eastern Pyrenees and the Mediterranean sea.
The 2023 vintage of this single vineyard red wine from L'Empordà is a blend composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Grenache.
Harvested by hand and meticulously selected, the grapes were cold-macerated for a long time before fermenting under controlled temperature. Each variety was separately vinified.
After that, the wine Perelada Finca Malaveïna 2023 was drawn off and aged for 27 months in new French oak barrels from Allier. Finally, this vegan wine was aged for some months in the bottle before its commercial release.

| Palate | Bold and palate-coating, but never overpowering. This red wine of Castillo Perelada has a crisp acidity, excellent balance and mild tannins. Menthol, wild berries, aromatic herbs and some earthy notions over a smokey-mineral background. Long, elegant finish. |
