Crafted by the Ramón do Casar winery, Ramón do Casar Treixadura is an interesting varietal Spanish white wine which highlights the many virtues of Treixadura, one of Galicia's most elegant and aromatic native varieties.
The grapes are sorted from estate-owned vineyards planted on the slopes of the Miño River, in the province of Ourense, DO Ribeiro.
Hand-picked and selected on site and in the winery's premises, the grapes were destemmed and cold-macerated with the skins for some hours. After that, this Galician white wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
The whole wine making process was supervised by Pablo Estévez, one of Spain's most accomplished oenologists. He is the name behind the remarkable quality displayed by Ramón do Casar Treixadura 2022.
It is worth mentioning that the 2015 and 2016 vintages of this varietal young white wine were chosen "Best Ribeiro White Wine".

Treixadura is a very interesting variety. Balance is its main feature.
