Ramón do Casar Treixadura 2025
Made by the Ramón do Casar winery, the wine Ramón do Casar Treixadura is an interesting varietal Spanish white wine which highlights the many virtues of Treixadura, one of Galicia's most elegant and aromatic native varieties.
The grapes are sorted from estate vineyards planted on the slopes of the Miño River, in the province of Ourense, DO Ribeiro.
Hand-picked and selected on site and in the winery's premises, the grapes were destemmed and cold-macerated with the skins for some hours. After that, this young white wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for 2-3 months on lees.
The whole wine making process was supervised by Pablo Estévez, one of Spain's most accomplished oenologists. He is the name behind the remarkable quality displayed by the white wine Ramón do Casar Treixadura 2025.
It is worth mentioning that the 2015 and 2016 vintages of this varietal white wine from Ribeiro were chosen "Best Ribeiro White Wine".
