This is the 2025 vintage of the wine Rebels de Batea Negre, made by winemakers Enric Ginesta and Manel Montserrat, vineyard manager of Torres in the Terra Alta region, through the 7 Magnífics brand.
Made solely from Grenache grapes, this Spanish red wine comes from the southern Catalonian region of Terra Alta, an area with a harsh climate and very poor soils which give the wine an intense and also fresh character.
After being traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks, 20% of this red wine from Terra Alta was aged in new and used French oak barrels for 3 months.
Once the process was completed, the wine Rebels de Batea Negre 2025 was bottled and put to rest for some months before hitting the market.
A side project of bodega Torres, this varietal young red wine aged in barrels will make an excellent pairing with meat recipes.
