Produced by Bodega Terramoll in Formentera, the tiniest and most magical of the Balearic Islands, the wine Rosa de Mar is a blended Spanish rosé wine made from Merlot, Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes were sorted from flatland vineyards with limestone soils planted about 20 years ago. The area receives a lot of sunlight and is constantly exposed to the sea wind.
Picked by hand, once in the cellar the grapes were refrigerated and subsequently drawn off for 24-36 hours. Then this organic rosé wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 25 days under controlled temperature.
After that, the wine Rosa de Mar 2022 was cold-stabilized and filtered before bottling.
This cheerful rosé wine from Formentera will pair nicely with pizzas, tapas and light dishes.
