Details
This is the new vintage of Serè, a young and tasty Spanish red wine from DO Montsant.
Produced by bodega Vendrell-Rived, this red wine from Montsant is a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Carignan.
Aged between 10 and 40 years, the organically farmed vines are planted in clay, limestone and slate soils at altitudes between 250 and 300 meters above sea level.
Once vinification was completed, Serè 2022 was aged in French oak barrels for a period of 5 months.
Pair with BBQ'd meat, tapas and cold cuts.

My definition of a good wine is one which I will conduct a repeat purchase and this is one of them. Despite having a Grenache content, the body is light and enjoyable. Recommended.
