Siós Brut Rosé Reserva Pinot Noir 2021
Made by the Costers del Sió winery, Siós Brut Rosé Reserva Pinot Noir is a varietal Pinot Noir sparkler produced from vines grown in the northern Catalan region of Costers del Segre.
Coming from a single vineyard, Pla del Molí, the grapes were picked by hand in mid August. Once in the cellar, they were refrigerated for two days in order to avoid spontaneous fermentation. Pressing of the Pinot Noir grapes was extremely gentle.
After that, this Spanish sparkling wine was fermented at a controlled temperature. A portion of the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, and the rest completed the process in 300-litre French oak barrels.
Then Siós Brut Rosé Reserva Pinot Noir 2021 went through secondary fermentation and was aged for 18 months. The disgorgement date is printed on the back label.
