Details
The best-known Spanish red wine from Bodega Vetus, the wine Vetus is born in the heart of DO Toro.
The 2021 vintage of this red wine from Toro is made from Tinta de Toro grapes sourced from a the 20-hectare vineyard with sandy soils that surrounds the winemaking facility, located near Villabuena del Puente (Zamora), at 700 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand, after a meticulous selection the grape bunches were destemmed, gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Vetus 2021 went through malolactic fermentation in the tanks and was aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. The wine was not clarified before being bottled.
Decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.

Vetus
Give me more Toro wines like this, please. Concentrated, very intense and very honest. Deeeep and, after a while, unexpectedly refined. Lots of flowers and a remembrance of dry forest.
