The single parcel red wine Viña Pedrosa Finca La Navilla comes from an exceptional site located in the very heart of Ribera del Duero.
Perched at 844 metres of altitude, the vineyard has a special microclimate, with huge differences of temperature between daytime and nighttime.
That key feature, as well as its clay-limestone soils, results in a remarkably complex, terroir-transparent Spanish red wine.
Made solely from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), the 30 to 40-year-old vines were harvested by hand. Then this wine of Bodegas Hnos.Pérez Pascuas was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, the wine Viña Pedrosa La Navilla 2020 was aged in French oak barrels from Allier for a period of 20 months. Bottled in September 2022, this Reserva red wine was stored for 16 months minimum before hitting the market..
