Casa Antich

Founded in 1850, the Antich company is the proud custodian of the original recipe of “The Vermut of Barcelona”, created by Anton Antich. Going back six generations, the history of the company runs parallel to the modern history of Barcelona. Nowadays, the Antich brand is owned by Grupo Vallformosa.

En 2021, Pau Matias-Guiu Martí, the sixth generation of the Antich family, recovered and adapted the traditional recipe of Vermut Antich to relaunch the brand. The company currently produces three Spanish vermouths: Antich Rosso – the original recipe -, Antich Reserva – the original recipe aged for 12 months in American oak barrels – and Antich Blanco – which is not added molasses to preserve its original colour.
